Although not technically a founding member of the Dubliners, John Sheahan is considered by most to be one of the "Original Dubliners," playing fiddle with the group from 1964 until 2012, following the death of Barney McKenna. Most consider the "Original Dubliners to be Luke Kelly, Ronnie Drew, Ciarán Bourke, Barney McKenna, and Sheahan.
