John Stirratt (born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 26, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, bassist and multi-instrumentalist. Stirratt joined Uncle Tupelo in 1992. After the breakup of Uncle Tupelo Stirratt rejoined Jeff Tweedy to found Wilco.
