José Mauro recorded Obnoxious, an orchestral LP with the regency and arrangements of Gaya and all songs composed by him and Ana Maria Bahiana, in 1970, with the participation of a constellation of Brazilian stars of that time. For years it was believed that José Mauro was dead.
