Joseph Ryelandt (April 7, 1870 Bruges – June 29, 1965 also in Bruges) was a Belgian classical composer. Ryelandt intended to study law, but changed his mind and in 1891 became a private composition pupil of Edgar Tinel. From 1924 through 1945, except for a gap of two years caused by World War II, Ryelandt directed the Municipal Conservatory of Bruges. His compositions include five symphonies (1897-1933), at least two of them recorded, as well as four string quartets (1897-1943) <a href="https:/
