He is very recognized for his flourishing style with his heavy use of cymbals instead of fills to link his songs together. He is 'sponsored' by Pearl and Zildjin and usually uses a Pearl 'Masters' series drum kit. Usually consisting of 2 bass drums, 2 floor toms, 1 high tom and a SensiTone snare drum.
