Tey is one of the best known Polish cabarets of the 70s and 80s. Founders of Tey were Zenon Laskowik, Krzysztof Jaslar and Aleksander Golebiowski. One of the most popular members were Bohdan Smolen, Rudi Schuberth and Janusz Rewinski. The cabaret ended its activity in 1988. Kabaret, written with a K, like Kaas and the German term Kabarett, is a tribute to the 1930 decade, the sparkling entertainers like Greta Garbo, Suzy Solidor, Martha Graham and others.
