== Description == Kaimganj is just 10 km from the ancient city of Kampil (ancient Kampilya) on the left bank of the great river Ganges in Farrukhabad district. The town was founded by the Nawab Mohammad Khan Bangash in 1713 and named Qaimganj (क़ायमगंज) after his son Qaim Khan, who was also the first administrator of this town. The word Qaim (क़ायम) means "upright" and the meaning of the word Ganj (गंज) is market place.
