== Biography == Chief Kalamakua was born on the island named Oʻahu, in ancient Hawaii. His father was called Kālonanui; he was a son of the High Chief Maʻilikākahi of Oʻahu. The mother of Kalamakua was called Kaipuholua; she was a wife of Kālonanuiʻs.
