== Geography == It lies at an altitude of around on the left side of Mandakini rive and on the bank of Kaliganga (locally known as Saraswati river) in the Himalayas, surrounded by the peaks of Kedarnath. Kalimath is situated close to Ukhimath and Guptakashi.
