==Demographics== Kanino appears in 15th century Ottoman defters as a village in the nahiyah of Manastır. Among its inhabitants, instances of household heads bearing the attribute Arnaut, a medieval Ottoman rendering for Albanians, are also present: Pejo Arnaut and Mile Arnaut.
