Kankarbagh, or Kankarbagh Colony, is a neighborhood and residential area in Patna, Bihar, India. It is one of the largest colonies in Asia and the second largest in terms of population.
==Overview== Established in 1916, Kankarbagh covers an area of around 900 acres. It stretches roughly from Ashok Nagar in the South west to Kumhrar in the North East. The word Kankarbagh means 'garden of kankar' (stone chips).
