It is one of a cluster of villages such as Chawli, Bhagwal, Dhoke Walana, Dhoke Kassar and Dhoke Chakoi which form the tribal homeland of the Kassar. The tribe is also linked to Karlal Sardar tribe which is founded by Abottabad Hazara.
