Kristeen Young (born 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Her music is hard to describe in terms of genre, but the constant is her emotive, operatic voice and her dissonant, percussive piano playing. Her work is completety self-made and DIY. Young released her first album Meet Miss Young and Her All Boy Band in 1997, and has since released ten studio albums and multiple singles.
