Kumi Tanioka (jap. 谷岡 久美, Tanioka Kumi; * 29. August 1974 in Hiroshima) ist eine japanische Pianistin und Komponistin von Videospielmusik. Sie wirkte seit 1998 an vielen verschiedenen Square-Enix-Titeln mit, bekannt wurde sie vor allem durch ihre Arbeit an Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles sowie ihre Auftritte auf Final Fantasy XI Fan Events.

Kumi Tanioka (谷岡久美, born August 29, 1974 in Hiroshima, Japan) has been a soundtrack composer for Square Enix since 1998. Her prior education includes attending the University of Kobe. Her interest in music dates back to playing piano at an early age. Tanioka's first big compositions were used for 2001's Final Fantasy XI (Online).
