Kurixalus

The taxonomy of small rhacophids is difficult and has been subject to many revisions, but molecular genetic data do support monophyly of Kurixalus. These frogs are distributed from Himalayan front ranges of eastern India southward and eastward to Cambodia, Vietnam, southern China, Taiwan, and the Ryukyu Islands.

Herpetologie Kurixalus is een geslacht van kikkers uit de familie schuimnestboomkikkers (Rhacophoridae). De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Chang-yuan Ye, Liang Fei en Alain Dubois in 1999.[1] Er zijn veertien soorten, inclusief twee soorten die pas in 2016 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk zijn beschreven.
