7.5Yuki's family is nearly wiped out before she is born due to the machinations of a band of criminals. These criminals kidnap and brutalize her mother but leave her alive. Later her mother ends up in prison with only revenge to keep her alive. She creates an instrument for this revenge by purposefully getting pregnant. Yuki never knows the love of a family but only killing and revenge.

Lady Snowblood (修羅雪姫 Shurayuki-hime?) es una película japonesa de 1973, dirigida por Toshiya Fujita y protagonizada por Meiko Kaji. Está basada en el manga homónimo escrito por Kazuo Koike e ilustrado por Kazuo Kamimura, y narra la historia de la asesina del título (Lady Snowblood) y su venganza contra los bandidos que violaron a su madre y mataron a su padrastro. Su secuela fue producida al año siguiente, y se hizo un remake de la cinta original en el 2001: también fue gran fuente de inspiración para Quentin Tarantino y su película Kill Bill, sobre todo en el desarrollo del personaje interpretado por Lucy Liu (O-Ren Ishii), quien también agregó a su cinta la canción The Flower of Carnage (interpretada por Meiko Kaji) al final de ésta.
