Latridopsis is a genus of marine ray finned fish belonging to the family Latridae, the trumpeters. They are found in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and the southeastern Indian Ocean.
==Taxonomy== Latridopsis was described in 1862 by the American ichthyologist Theodore Nicholas Gill who designated J.R. Forster's Anthias ciliaris as its type species, the genus was also monotypic when Gill described it. The name of the genus Latridopsis means "resembling Latris.
