Lee Thomas was born in Wales. He said he came to London to go to a friend's party and never went back. At first he was staying in hostels or sleeping rough until he got his break by taking part in a competition run by the magazine "Boyz" to find a gay boy band and won! The group was called "2wo Third3" (see entry here). His life long ambition had been to appear on the television programme "Top of the Pops" which he did with the group.
