Violinist Leonid Levin received honors as violin -soloist at the State Moscow Music Gnesins Academy. After emigrating to the USA, he became concertmaster of the Savannah and Omaha Symphony Orchestras and was a winner at the International Violin Competition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A former member of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, he performed under the baton of the great guest conductors Eugene Ormandy, Robert Shaw, and Curt Mazur.
