Elfrida ( c. 945 - 1000 ou 1001, também Alfrida, Elfrida ou Elfthryth ) foi uma rainha inglesa, a segunda ou terceira esposa do rei Edgar de Inglaterra . Elfrida ficou conhecida por ter sido coroada e ungida como rainha do Reino da Inglaterra . Mãe do rei Etelredo, ela era uma poderosa figura política. Ela estave possivelmente ligada ao assassinato de seu enteado, o rei Eduardo, o Mártir, e apareceu como uma rainha má e madrasta do mal em muitas histórias medievais.
