OverviewAI-generated
Life is a natural phenomenon and biological process that is a subclass of being. It is characterized by reproduction, metabolism, adaptation, and a biological life cycle. The subject includes parts such as biological processes and metabolism, and it has the use of reproduction. It is partially coincident with real life and is said to be the same as Earthling.
Life is studied by life sciences and biology. It is referenced by 1,386 other encyclopedia articles. The topic is maintained by WikiProject Science, WikiProject Biology, WikiProject Environment, and WikiProject Culture. It appears on focus lists including Wikipedia:List of articles all languages should have and Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/1. The history of the topic includes the history of life and the timeline of evolutionary history of life.
