مصر السفلى هي المنطقة الواقعة في أقصى شمال مصر ، تتكون من دلتا النيل بين صعيد مصر والبحر الأبيض المتوسط ، من العياط جنوب القاهرة الحديثة ودهشور. تاريخيا ، انقسم نهر النيل إلى سبعة فروع للدلتا في مصر السفلى. قُسِّمت مصر السفلى إلى مقاطعات (نوم) وبدأت في التقدم كحضارة بعد عام 3600 قبل الميلاد. اليوم ، تحتوي مصر السفلى على قناتين رئيسيتين تتدفقان عبر دلتا نهر النيل.
