Lucentum

Lucentum (también Leukante o Leukanto) es el nombre de una ciudad íbero-romana situada en el actual municipio de Alicante, en el lugar conocido como El Tossal de Manises, en el barrio de la Albufereta. La influencia del nombre de la antigua ciudad romana tiene hoy su eco en la actual Alicante. Un gran multitud de empresas, asociaciones y clubes deportivos llevan el nombre de la antigua ciudad.
