Luis D'Antin Van Rooten (Città del Messico, 29 novembre 1906 – Chatham, 17 giugno 1973) è stato un attore statunitense. Van Rooten nacque a Città del Messico e all'età di otto anni emigrò negli Stati Uniti con i genitori, crescendo poi in Pennsylvania. Conseguì il BA presso l'Università della Pennsylvania come architetto, prima di dedicarsi al cinema a Hollywood durante la seconda guerra mondiale. La sua famigliarità con le lingue gli fece ottenere un impiego come annunciatore militare radiofonico durante la guerra ed egli condusse numerose trasmissioni in italiano, spagnolo e francese. Spesso ricoprì ruoli che richiedevano un accento o una buona conoscenza dei dialetti. Morì nel 1973, a 66 anni, a Chatham, dove stava trascorrendo le vacanze.
