Manimal fue una serie de televisión estadounidense que se transmitió entre el 30 de septiembre y el 17 de diciembre de 1983 por la cadena NBC. Debido a no obtener la repercusión esperada, solamente se emitieron ocho capítulos antes de su cancelación. El programa se centraba en la vida del Dr. Jonathan Chase (protagonizado por Simon MacCorkindale), un hombre que poseía la habilidad de transformarse en el ser que deseara, lo que utilizaba para ayudar a la policía a resolver crímenes. Sus transformaciones más comunes eran un halcón y una pantera negra. En algunos episodios tomó la forma de otros animales, como caballos, delfines, osos y serpientes. Las secuencias de transformación fueron diseñadas por el experto en efectos especiales Stan Winston.
