Mark started off his love for boogie, disco and funk during his time in Manchester in the late 90’s, early 00’s. On his return to Shrewsbury in 2002 and with a bit of money behind him, he decided to start buying vinyl of all the tunes he loved up in Manchester and progressed into discovering the forgotten gems of the disco/boogie late 70s to early/mid 80s era. In 2003 he started playing regular gigs in Birmingham and in 2006, through a mutual friend met Matt Wedderkopp who ran "2Kilos Of Funk".
