Marken est une presqu'île située sur IJsselmeer aux Pays-Bas. Elle appartient à la commune de Waterland dans la province de la Hollande-Septentrionale. Marken est séparé du continent par la Gouwzee. Cette île a été reliée au continent par une digue en 1957, c'est donc une presqu'île. L'île est réputée pour son village touristique, ses maisons en bois et son aspect folklorique. Au nord de l'île, la digue qui s'élance vers le nord sur un peu plus de 2 km, est la première phase inachevée de la construction du markerwaard, construite en 1941.
