Mårten Hagström is the rhythm guitarist for the Swedish Technical/Thrash metal band Meshuggah. He joined the band after the release of their first album, which allowed Jens Kidman to focus on his vocal performances. He is known for his strong and complex rhythm guitar playing. Marten has cited Rush, James Hetfield, Squarepusher, Strapping Young Lad, Candlemass, and Geezum as influences. Mårten Hagström, né le 27 avril 1971 à Örnsköldsvik en Suède, est un guitariste suédois. Il est principalement connu pour être le guitariste rythmique du groupe de metal extrême Meshuggah. Il rejoint le groupe en 1992, après la sortie de leur premier album Contradictions Collapse, pour permettre à Jens Kidman de se focaliser uniquement sur les vocaux.
