Matthew Morgan (born in Ohio on 15 June 1973) is an American singer songwriter based in Chicago. With a painter's eye for detail, Morgan combines his tenor voice with evocative tales. He weaves together American folk, country, rock and blues and, as a multi-instrumentalist, plays guitar, piano, organ, harmonica, and a variety of other stringed instruments.
