Matthew Strachan (born in London on 11 December 1970; died September 2021) was an English composer and singer-songwriter remembered for writing TV soundtracks, musicals and songs. He was born in London, UK and trained as a composer at Dartington College of Arts and Goldsmith’s College, University of London. After ten years of composing music for television he spent two years writing songs in Nashville before writing music and lyrics for the stage musical Next Door’s Baby which premiered in Londo
