May Ling Su

May Ling Su is a Filipina-American immigrant polarizing audiences with her erotic performance since the mid-90s , beginning with home sex videos with her husband, going on to perform with the notorious Max Hardcore, and then creating menstrual art for a New York City gallery. By the mid-2000s celebrity photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders included her portraits in the book, “XXX: 30 Porn Star Portraits ,” in fine galleries worldwide, and on “Thinking XXX,” the HBO documentary on the making of the book. In 2011, May Ling Su was nominated for the Feminist Porn Award and anointed as a Pornsaint in Italy. She devoted the following decade to writing The Lilith Series, an erotic exploration of the Bible’s Genesis and related Mesopotamian lore. She also contributed Power Couple, a creative narrative piece for the book Agam, which won the National Book Award and Golden Book Award in the Philippines. May Ling Su started her career with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Ateneo de Manila University. She performed in musical theatre, concert halls, and television before getting into adult entertainment, all along thinking she was gathering life experience to write about someday.
