Medium fue una serie de televisión estadounidense de la compañía CBS Paramount Network Television para la emisora NBC estrenada en 2005. Desde septiembre de 2009 hasta enero de 2011, en su sexta temporada y séptima temporada, la serie se vio por el canal CBS. En la temporada 2010-2011 emitió su séptima temporada que, por decisión de la cadena CBS, fue la última —aunque se le dio un final a la serie—, y se vio reducida de 22 a 13 episodios. El 21 de enero de 2011 se emitió el décimo tercer y último capítulo de su séptima y última temporada, el cual dio fin a la serie. Esta ficción de misterio está basada en la vida real de la médium Allison DuBois, interpretada por Patricia Arquette, cuyo don le ha permitido en su corta carrera resolver muchos casos para la justicia.
