Меланодеры (лат. Melanodera) — род воробьиных птиц. Относится к семейству овсянковых; по всей видимости они имеют более близкое родство с танаграми. Вслед за предложением 2011 года относить группу родов овсянковых, в том числе меланодер, к танаграм, в некоторых классификаторах относятся к этому семейству. Распространены в центральном Чили, в Патагонии, и на Фолклендских островах. В окраске самцов ярко выделяется черное горло, самки менее заметны.

Melanodera is a genus of Patagonian seed-eating birds in the tanager family Thraupidae.
==Taxonomy and species list== The genus Melanodera was introduced in 1850 by the French naturalist Charles Lucien Bonaparte with the white-bridled finch (Melanodera melanodera) as the type species. The genus name combines the Ancient Greek melas meaning "black" and dera meaning "neck". The genus now contains two species.
