Mettmach is a municipality in the district of Ried im Innkreis in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is best known as the home of Anton Reinthaller.

== History == Until the late 18th Century, Mettmach belonged to the Electorate (later Duchy) of Bavaria. In 1779 the Innviertel region, including Mettmach, was transferred to the Habsburg Monarchy and became a part of Upper austria.
