Meyer Werft GmbH è una azienda tedesca attiva nel campo delle costruzioni navali, una delle più grandi d'Europa nel suo settore. Fondata nel 1795, ha iniziato la sua attività costruendo piccole navi di legno. Attualmente Meyer Werft ha costruito più di 700 tipologie di nave differenti nei propri cantieri. Il Dockhalle 2 è la terza più grande sala di costruzione navale. Dal 1997 fa parte del gruppo Meyer Neptun insieme a Neptun Werft a Rostock. Nel 2014 la società ha aggiunto al cantiere il cantiere navale Turku in Finlandia.
