Mia (Myriam) Aegerter (born 9 October 1976 in Fribourg) is a Swiss pop singer and actor. She grew up in a musical family, her mother being a guitar teacher and her father a drummer for a band. She became excited about music herself, playing guitar in her childhood and writing her own songs. After she received her matura she moved to Munich, where she studied acting, singing, and dancing at a music academy. In 1998 she won an imitation contest on <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Mia+Aegerter">
