Mira Marković

Mira Marković, born Mirjana Marković on July 10, 1942, in Požarevac, was a female journalist and member of the Yugoslav Left and the League of Communists of Yugoslavia. She was educated at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy and later employed by the University of Belgrade. Her spouse was Slobodan Milošević, and they had a child named Marko Milošević. Her father was Moma Marković.

She held citizenship in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and Russia. Marković spoke Russian and Serbian. She authored works including *Gece ve gün*, *Pre i posle*, *Sećanja crvene udovice*, *Destierrada e imperdida*, and *Noć i dan*. She died on April 14, 2019, in Sochi and was buried in Požarevac.
