Multi-instrumentalist Mitch Easter is best known as the producer of REM's "Murmur" album and releases from (among others) Velvet Crush, Pavement, Game Theory, Marshall Crenshaw, Drive By Truckers and the Loud Family. Mitchell Blake Easter (Winston-Salem, 15 november 1954) is een Amerikaanse popzanger en -gitarist, songwriter en producent.
