Mothermania was an US ska/punk-rock band from Asbury Park, New Jersey. It consisted of the members Jeff Plate (vocals, guitar), Sam Crowell (bass) and Brad Chevalier-Kolling (drums). They put out the three DIY releases "Absolutely No No", "John and Mary's Snapshot Album" and "Poup Du 'Jour" which mostly featured ska-influenced tunes. In 1997, they were signed to Drive Thru Records and released a more punk-influenced album called "The Sound And The Fury". Shortly after that, the band broke up. <a
