A mudra is a symbolic hand gesture used in Hindu, Buddhist, and other Asian religious and artistic traditions to convey specific spiritual meanings or invoke particular states of being. These hand positions appear frequently in sculptures, paintings, and live practice across various cultures and time periods, serving as a visual language for spiritual concepts and narratives.
