Murry was fired from The Beach Boys, by the boys. He started producing some classmates of his sons, The Sunrays. They only had one big hit, "I Live For The Sun." During those sessions, Murry fashioned himself a jingle writer and proceeded to record a Kentucky Fried Chicken travesty (The Colonel's March).
