Nâdiya is a French R&B singer (born Nadia Zighem on June 19, 1973 in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, France). She released her first single in 1997 without success. In 2001 she released her first album and in 2004 she released her second album '16/9' where the hits "Parle-moi", "Et C'est Parti..." and "Si Loin de Vous" come from. Nâdiya (born Nadia Zighem on 19 June 1973) is a French R&B singer.
== Early life == Nâdiya was born in the city of Tours, France in Algerian descent family. At school she displayed a talent for athletics, and gravitated towards the sport-studies section. In 1989, she won the title of Junior Champion of France's 800 metres.
