In the Hebrew Bible, Nahshon ( Naḥšon) was a tribal leader of the Judahites during the wilderness wanderings of the Book of Numbers. In the King James Version, the name is spelled Naashon, and is within modern Rabbinical contexts often transliterated as Nachshon.
