ネガフィルムとは、被写体の明暗や色が反転した画像がつくられる写真フィルムである。「ネガ」は「ネガティブ (negative)」の略であり、英語ではnegative filmと表記する。カラーフィルムの場合、色は被写体の色の補色（ネガ、陰画）が現れる。プリント時に再反転されることで普通に見られる画像（ポジ、陽画）となる。 なお、ここでは主にカラーフィルムについて解説する。モノクロフィルムについてはモノクロフィルムの項を参照のこと。
