Ngaio Marsh

Ngaio Marsh, born Edith Ngaio Marsh on 23 April 1895, was a New Zealand writer, theatrical director, novelist, and autobiographer. She was educated at the University of Canterbury and wrote in the English language, specifically New Zealand English. Her literary career began in 1932, focusing on the genre of detective fiction.
