Nick Harkaway (born 1972 in Cornwall, England) is a novelist. He is the author of The Gone-Away World, a novel published in June 2008. He is the son of author John le Carré. Harkaway was educated at Clare College, Cambridge, where he studied philosophy, sociology and politics and took up Shorinji Kan Jiu Jitsu.
