Danish born singer and actress, best known for her part in the husband-wife act Nina & Frederik. Born Nina Magdelene Møller-Hasselbalch. In the late 50's she teamed up with Frederik, Baron van Pallandt to form the calypso-inspired folk duo Nina & Frederik. The duo achieved international succes, also appearing the the move "The Melody of Love" with Louis Armstrong. They married in in 1960 and had three children but divorced in 1975. (Frederik van Pallandt settled in the Philippines in the 1990s.
