Ningxia, oficialmente Región Autónoma Hui de Ningxia (en chino simplificado, 宁夏回族自治区; en chino tradicional, 寧夏回族自治區; pinyin, Níngxià Huí Zú Zìzhìqū; transcripción antigua, Ningsia), es una de las cinco regiones autónomas que, junto con las veintidós provincias, cuatro municipios y dos regiones administrativas especiales, conforman la República Popular China (las regiones autónomas se caracterizan por estar asociadas a grupos étnicos minoritarios). Su capital es Yinchuan. Está situada al oeste de la meseta de loes, en el curso medio del río Amarillo, limitando al norte con Mongolia Interior, al este con Shaanxi y al sur y oeste con Gansu. Su extensión es de 66 400 km² y su población de casi seis millones de habitantes (2003).
