Nitocris began when Andi, Jess, Sara and Kira met at Hunters Hill high school in Sydney, at the age of 14. They were 4 rock music loving, skater outcasts who didnt seem to fit into the usual girly role model of their peers. They decided to start a band. After 10 years, approximately 1500 shows, 2 albums and 5 EP's Nitocris made the very difficult decision to have an indefinite and possibly permanent break to pursue their own personal projects.
