==History and community structure== The community Nordwestuckermark was formed on 1 November 2001 from the previously independent municipalities Ferdinandshorst, Fürstenwerder, Gollmitz, Kraatz, Naugarten, Röpersdorf/Sternhagen, Schapow, Schönermark und Weggun (Amt Nordwestuckermark) and the municipality Holzendorf (department Prenzlau-Land).
